The Toyota AE86 is a legendary Japanese performance car from the 80s, and it still attracts attention from enthusiasts from all over the world. Unfortunately, the 30-year-old classic car is becoming very hard to find due to its old age. Toyota unveiled a newer version of the AE86, known as GT 86 in Japan and Scion FR-S in USA, late last year. A number of collaborations are underway, and these are range of watches made in partnership with Citizen. Three colorways are produced to mirror the performance car, and each comes packaged in a custom mock carbon fiber box. Furthermore, these watches are equipped with a solar panel battery recharging system on its dial, which forgoes the need to change batteries over time. All three models are currently available as a pre-order from BEAMS online shop in Japan.
