Karen and I rolled out the Evo tonight to go get some gas and also create gas from the Taco shop. Karen took some quick iPhone pics.

I can’t tell you how much I love having the Evo back in my possession. Things are a little more peaceful in the household as of late.

Woke up to the sound of Louie barking his damn head off this morning. Fedex brought me my Prodrive Smooth leather steering wheel for the Evo. I ordered this from Japan and It came in under 2 weeks. It took me a few months to save up for this wheel. It was a little pricey but I took the plunge anyway.

I can now match this to my Prodrive harnesses I already have in the car. Hopefully I’ll get this together tonight or tomorrow and get it on the car. I’ll try and snap a few more pics.

automotofoto had a great pic of the front of the Rando Evo X. Not bad. I dig it. I think the rest of the kit looks like the Sunline one though. Not sure.

Here it is. I should have cleaned it better but I went for drive and just started shooting pics when I got back home. Don’t mind all the dust and water spots. LOL! So the motor is now 2.3. Wiseco pistons, GSC 282 Cams, Manley crank, HKS KANSAI Plenium ARP everything…. The list goes on. I have to give a shout out to my homie Shaun for sacrificing to my build a Brand new in the box HKS Kansai plenium. These are no longer made and not easy to get. I had one on my White Evo 8 build and just had to have on this one.

On with the pics. I hope dig my fruitiness. :p

The car got a massive detail after coming back from RRE. The car was gone for a year and a month. After being at Evasive and than RRE for the motor build it was as they say fucking filthy. LOL! Best part about the Detail is I finally met Chris Cusson of Aclass blog fame. Him and Nat came over to the house to do the detailing. They did a bang-up job so I would highly recommend them to anyone. They even turned me on to some new car care stuff I’ve never seen before. We had a great time hanging out discussing cars, the scene, shit we totally hate, and other random car crap. Good times. Must hang out again soon Chris !

Blah, blah, blah. Here some pics I took after a little spirited driving today. I will follow this post up with motor shots I took. I still need run them through P-shop. I took about 80 shitty shots today. LOL!

I took the Evo for a spin today and got some shots when I got back home. Some people have been asking about the wing. It is a Voltex Evo 9 wing. It was first made for the Mitsu Evo X but has since been adapted for use with Evo 8/9. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it on a EVO X. When I found out that is was adapted for the 8/9 I had to have one. I’m a little tired of the GT Wing look and I’m only streeting my Evo. No Time attacking going on here.

Anyway, Here are some pics. Big props to Ryan and Lisa and My GF Karen for helping on the cleanup and getting this thing on Sunday. I love it. More shots soon.

Everyone has been doing a list or making a blog of their favorite cars at TAS 2012. Well, I’m no different than anyone else LOL!

I picked the Knight Sports RX-8. What ? Yep. I picked a RX-8. I pretty much have no interest in the RX-8 But this car gave that warm feeling in my belly when I saw pics of it. My friend Rob Shaw took awesome pics of it and is letting me share them with you. Rob is a X RX-8 owner so I’m sure he was pretty ticked with this car also. The livery, Aero, and part choices just scream perfect. i assume this a Time Attack car if not than a race car for Super Taikyu ? I don’t know. I just know I totally love it.
